Xara is our first bred-by girl from our Spring 2019 Supernatural litter out of Cas and Xen. and we could not be more excited about her! She is beautiful, bright, and absolutely hilarious. Plans for Xara include conformation, agility, NoseWork, herding, and whatever else she wants to do. She earned her Advanced Trick Dog title at five months old, and passed her STAR puppy class with ease.
Xara recently attended her very first conformation show at the end of September, 2019. Because she was not quite six months old, on the first day she won first place in the Beginner Puppy herding group. The following day, her six month birthday, she earned her first major win at the BCSA supported entry, as well as Best in Sweepstakes! Xara finished her Championship on 4/18/21 from the bred-by class, with all major wins! She currently has 18 points towards her Grand Championship, including all her majors and champion defeats. She made quite the impression her first weekend out as a special, winning NOHS Best In Show on 4/24/21! After taking some time off to whelp a lovely litter of puppies, she finished her GCH title in short order with all major wins, a BOB, and a variety group 4 placement! Next, we plan to begin working on her Bronze GCH title, towards which she currently has 51 points. Xara qualified for the BCSA NOHS Top 20 event in 2021 and 2022.
Xara recently went BEST IN SPECIALTY SHOW at the 2023 Border Collie Club of Northern California AM specialty under breeder-judge Claudia Garzon (Springsunset Border Collies, Colombia), which was truly a childhood dream come true.
Xara earned her Rally Novice title with scores of 97, 97, and 98 on 10/6/20. These scores qualified her for the AKC Rally National Championships in 2021! She is currently in training for higher levels of rally as well as obedience.
Xara recently debuted in agility and is already halfway to her UKI Beginner Speedstakes title. I'm so excited to continue our agility journey together!
